This Sunday, November 1st, we gather in the warmth of the Bliss Tent for a sacred Samhain Sister Circle, an afternoon of remembrance, creativity, and connection as we honor those who came before us and welcome the quiet wisdom of the darker season ahead.
Samhain is an ancient seasonal celebration marking the transition into winter, a time to reflect upon the cycles of life, honor our ancestors, release what we are ready to lay down, and carry forward the lessons that have shaped us.
Gathering around the altar, we will create space to remember the loved ones who continue to hold a place in our hearts. You are invited to bring a photograph or small meaningful keepsake to place upon our ancestor altar as we offer a moment of remembrance, gratitude, and love. Your treasured item will be returned to you before you leave.
We will wander the property together on a gentle forest foraging walk, gathering natural treasures to weave into our very own Garden Goddesses. Each sister will craft a unique goddess to watch over her garden (even if that garden is in containers) through the winter months, choosing from the gifts of nature alongside a special handmade goddess face lovingly provided by Holly. In keeping with an old seasonal tradition, these goddesses will be in service to your garden watching over it through the winter and then ceremonially burned at Beltane on May 1st, completing the beautiful cycle between autumn and spring.
Between moments of creativity and reflection, we will share the simple pleasures of the harvest with warm herbal tea, pumpkin, fig and brie dip, and sweet seasonal treats.
As the afternoon settles, we will gather fireside for gentle movement, candle meditation, and journaling, creating space to quiet the mind, listen inward, and reconnect with the intuitive wisdom that often whispers when the world grows still.
This is an invitation to slow down, honor your own seasons of change, share in the warmth of sisterhood, and leave with a handmade garden guardian and a heart a little more connected to the rhythms of nature.
Space is limited to just 7 sisters to preserve the intimacy of our gathering. This annual Samhain experience typically sells out, so reserve your space as soon as possible.
